Highlights
Eligibility: To be eligible participants must have completed two semesters of college or the equivalent and be at least 18 years of age. For Special Enrollments (students at their freshmen year, recent high school graduates, or non-traditional students) NECA should first contact them and talk to them to understand if they are suitable to study abroad. Selection is based on academic achievement as well as seriousness of purpose and individual stability and maturity. The GPA (Grade Point Average) is important and it is requested on the on-line application form, but it is not the only issue taken into consideration. NECA also considers other factors to understand if a student meets certain requirements, both academic and non, to study abroad.
Scholarships: The NECA Scholarship Program has been developed to assist students (enrolled in 2-year or 4-year institutions) and Adults with academic merit and/or that do not have enough resources. No full scholarships are awarded.
To apply for a scholarship applicants should send NECA their on-line application from the NECA website and a 200-word essay/email stating why they want to study in Italy.
