San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica, is set in the lush Central Valley of the Costa Rican highlands. As the cultural, economic and political center of Costa Rica, San Jose is where the majority of Costa Ricans live, work, study and play. Students studying in San Jose will be able to experience a vibrant and busy Latin American metropolis while also having the rest of Costa Rica's pristine natural wonders at their fingertips.
Students can study in San José at either the Universidad Latin- San Pedro.Veritas University.Semester programs in San José offer courses at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students may choose to take classes with Costa Rican students or classes with international students.
There are two ISA offices in San Jose. The main ISA office is located near Veritas University. The bulding has a meeting room, computer lab with WiFi access, kitchen and travel resource library. The U Latin-San Pedro office is located directly on campus. Students are free to enjoy all of the ISA office amenities and get advice from our staff.
