Description
Quebec City, the only major city in Canada that offers a 100% French-speaking environment, is the ideal location for learning and practicing French. As the cradle of francophone culture in the Americas, Quebec City offers an unparalleled opportunity for French immersion.
The school is located on the campus of Collège Mérici, in downtown Quebec City, a short 15 minute walk from Old Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The program follows international standards, which ensures its compatibility with internationally recognized exams (DELF, TCF, etc.) with a Quebecois flavor. Instructors focus on providing students with a foundation in French that will serve them wherever they go in the future. Students undergo an evaluation on the first day of class, and are placed in the appropriate level. There are start dates every week and we offer 7 levels of French.
French Intensive and super Intensive Programs
We offer 22.5 hours per week course for adults during the year and 25 hours during summer time. Some student will prefer taking the super intensive program offering 27,5 hours per week or 30 hours during summer session.
Volunteer or Work Experience
Live a complete immersion experience! Complement French classes with volunteering or work experience: an excellent opportunity to practice French in a entirely authentic environment and to become engaged with the local community.
Students are strongly encouraged to include either volunteering of work experience in their program.
