Volunteer Help for Haiti
Here at GoAbroad.com we have been inundated with thousands of requests from users eager to volunteer in Haiti. Volunteers are currently limited to people with disaster experience or those who are trained in relief operations. The alternative course of action is to offer donations to relief organizations.
Needless to say, this tragedy is ongoing and will not end in the next months, or years. Haiti will need rehabilitation assistance as much as it needs immediate relief. Many volunteer organizations are keen to identify this need and are already gearing up, trying to organize volunteers to go to Haiti in the coming months.
GoAbroad.com, in its efforts to provide a resource for meaningful travel, is working toward providing the necessary link between volunteer organizations and those looking for the right avenue to help. There's never too many helping hands. Thank you.
