Participants will work directly with doctors and nurses to treat patients in different areas of the country. While skillful or qualified nurses and doctors assist in the provision of day-to-day treatments of illness, medical and nursing students are given the opportunity to work in different departments, including pediatrics, maternity, mental health, and surgery. Healthcare placements offer exceptional learning opportunities and allow volunteers to use pre-existing knowledge to be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of hospitals and work directly with doctors and nurses in healing patients and meeting their needs.
