Health Care Volunteering in Barbados

Nutrition Abroad 4 Nutrition Students (NA4NS) invites degree-seeking students to the beautiful island of Barbados. Here, they become familiar with the Bajan food, cuisine, culture, and environment through a variety of cultural activities. This program educates them on common chronic diseases afflicting the local population and their nutrition management. Students have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the locals by volunteering with local health organizations and getting involved with educational community initiatives.
