While the remains of ancient Athens are still prevalent throughout the city these days, the city is as young and vibrant as ever. Students gain access to the countless museums, cafes and tavernas, local shops, and farmers' markets, not to mention the country's famous Greek islands. The Arts, Business, Liberal Arts & Sciences semester program and the Business & Liberal Arts Summer programs at The American College of Greece (ACG) offer a great variety of courses from three schools: the School of Arts & Sciences, the School of Fine & Performing Arts, and the School of Business. Popular subject areas include Business, Performing & Visual Arts, and Psychology. Courses are taught by ACG faculty at ACG, and students take courses with local and visiting international students. A Guide to Studying Philosophy Abroad
Why Study Philosophy Abroad
Studying philosophy abroad is about far more than the academic benefits or gold star on your transcript. While it will be rewarding to enroll in courses and learn about different philosophical approaches used by other cultures, the eye-opening perspective that comes through travel itself is what matters most. Philosophy is more about asking the right questions than finding all the answers. Now is the time to journey out into the world and find out for yourself what those questions should be!
