From your base in Apia, Samoa’s capital, study social justice issues and efforts to protect the environment across the Pacific. Hear perspectives on conservation and resilience from Samoans and other Pacific Islanders, and interact with local university students. Excursions include Samoa’s volcanic island of Savai‘i and a journey to Fiji, where you’ll examine the impacts of development, tourism, and climate change on diverse communities.
