Spend a semester or academic year in Berlin, Germany, with AIFS Abroad. You’ll earn up to 15 credits per semester through a variety of courses studying at Freie Universität. Courses are offered in English and German. If you’re interested in giving back to a local community in Berlin, information on volunteer opportunities will be available once you arrive. Live in either a homestay or student apartment (with a supplemental fee). Homestay students have their own rooms and receive breakfast and dinner daily from their host family. Apartments are single or double occupancy with a shared kitchen, bathroom, and on-site laundry facilities. They will receive a meal allowance, and all students will receive a Mensa card to subsidize the cost of on-campus dining.
