Volunteers in Asia (VIA)

Since 1963, Volunteers in Asia (VIA) has been maintaining its aid and teaching in Asia and Silicon Valley, California, as a nonprofit organization promoting development to both community and volunteers in language and culture, service learning, and healthcare. We aim to make life-changing immersions and undo all barriers. With more than 2,000 volunteers traveling to extend a helping hand to 16 regions in Asia, VIA offers different kinds of programs, from short-term to long-term and from summer to spring break, such as Global Community Fellowship for a year, Culture and Social Impact in Indonesia, Leadership and Sustainability in China, and other tailored programs.
