Program Includes:

Included are:
- local airport transfers
- accommodation at Volunteer House in shared rooms
- 3 home cooked meals daily when at Volunteer House
- transport to teaching placements
- orientation on arrival including visit to city of Udaipur
- weekend day trip to Kumbhalgar Fort and Ranakpur Temple (volunteer pays entrance fees)
- local excursions to Monsoon Palace and Bagore ki Haveli (volunteer pays entrance fees)
- 5 Hindi lessons
- optional yoga workshops - 5 classes weekly

Qualifications

Volunteers need to be willing to plan their lessons and keen to teach the children in English.
Some Hindi is needed and this is included as part of your orientation so you can speak some basic phrases such as "What is your name?" "My name is...", "How old are you?" "I am .....years old", "please", "thank you", "sit down", "stand up", "make a circle", etc.
This cross-cultural experience is also about learning about life in India and respecting the cultural differences.
