Nepal is a small, beautiful, and patriarchal country. Governed by men, they participate in every societal activity, while females are excluded. Women are treated as mere machines for producing children and carrying out household work. This is primarily due to Nepal being a developing country with diverse religions and cultures. Due to these conditions, women face discrimination. In some religions, the daughters are presented to the monastery, “gumba,” or temple to make their god happy. The female population does not have the freedom to live their life.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to interact with women's groups, work on ongoing projects, and contribute to their overall well-being.
