The Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) or the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences is a private university with campuses in four districts of Lima: Santiago de Surco (principal campus), San Isidro, Chorrillos, and San Miguel. Established in January 1994, the university started with only three faculties: Architecture, Communications, and Engineering. Currently, we offer over 40 undergraduate degrees within 12 faculties as well as over 20 postgraduate programs. The UPC received accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges in the United States, making us the only university in Peru to reach this achievement.
As one of the country’s high-ranking universities, we aim to mold leaders who possess innovation, integrity, and a global vision and are ready to contribute to Peru’s transformation. We make this possible through an educational model based on five pedagogical principles - learning to sustainability; learning diversity with global vision; autonomous and self-reflective learning; learning centered on the student; and learning skills.
