Participation Guidelines

European, Canadian, South African, Australian, Kiwi, Asian, Irish and British Participants.

Cost in USD per week

6 month program: $ 2,495 | 12 month program: $ 3,080

Program Includes:

- Education on the J-1 Internship Program
- Internship Interview preparation
- An hourly paid internship position
- Visa documentation (DS2019, DS7002, SEVIS etc)
- Sponsorship of the J1 Intern or the J1 Trainee visa
- Assistance with finding safe and secure housing
- Health insurance during your stay in the United States*
- Pre-departure orientation
- 24/7 emergency support while in the United States

- SEVIS fee ($ 180). SEVIS is an electronic system that is used by the U.S. government to monitor J-1 candidates.
- Embassy appointment fee ($ 160), this is payable when you either visit your local embassy or when you book the appointment online.
- Flights to and from the United States, rent and living costs

Experience Required



To qualify for the USA J-1 Internship Program you need to:

- Be a current student, enrolled in a hospitality-related degree
- Have a good command of the English language


- Have graduated from a hospitality-related degree in the past 12 months
- Have a good command of the English language


- Have graduated longer than 12 months ago
- Have 12 months of full-time work experience in hospitality
