The Shark Odyssey is a nonprofit organization founded in 2015. From fisheries scientists to shark conservationists, we are a small crew of highly qualified researchers and professional divers who aim to take action in the conservation of shark populations through citizen science programs.
Whether you are determined to gain valuable career experience and job skills in the field of shark conservation or you just want to have a meaningful international adventure, The Shark Odyssey offers you the opportunity to interact with wild shark populations at the same time that you participate in relevant research studies vital for their conservation.
As a non-profit organization, 100 percent of the funds provided by our volunteers are invested in
running a successful volunteer program for the conservation of shark populations in the Sea of
Cortez. We are committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences while keeping overhead
costs to a minimum.
