Animal Volunteering in Sangklaburi, Thailand

This two-week volunteering program offers a unique and hands-on experience in the rural town of Sangklaburi, located in the western part of Thailand near the border with Myanmar. The program focuses on assisting at a dog rescue sanctuary situated just 25 minutes outside of town. The sanctuary is managed by Tonrak School and Baan Unrak Children's Home, charitable organizations providing shelter, education, and support to refugee children affected by the ongoing conflict in Myanmar. During the program, volunteers will have the opportunity to engage in various activities aimed at supporting the well-being of the animals at the sanctuary, which currently houses 62 dogs, 17 cats, 5 turtles, and 3 rabbits.
