Love love love this course!!!
by: Sarah Horan - United StatesProgram: 120-Hour Accredited TEFL Certification with Live SupportTEFLpros was such a great decision for me. It was so helpful to work at my own pace and really take my time to master the criteria in each module. What I love most is that they model what they are teaching. If they are teaching you to create brainstorming/warm-up questions for your students before a lesson, guess what you are doing before each lesson in their course? Warm-up questions! They model lesson structure and cater to each learning style by allowing you to read the lesson and/or listen t...
Prepared, Supported, Challenged
by: TIM ROGERS-MARTIN - United StatesProgram: 120-Hour Accredited TEFL Certification with Live SupportGoing through the learning and certification process with TEFLPros exceeded my expectations. The material is well organized and practical. The portfolio that is built gives practical experience. Whitney William's coaching calls are priceless. When I was teaching in Madagascar and hit some bumps, I would get on a coaching call and receive expert advice and encouragement. Her coaching is continuing as I am now teaching online. The coursework and Whitney's coaching challenges me to grow and t...
Completely worth it!!
by: Daphne Papadakis - United StatesProgram: 120-Hour Accredited TEFL Certification with Live SupportI am a native speaker of English with a background from the United States. I live in Greece and at some point decided that I wanted to teach English as a foreign language. I felt overwhelmed and lost on my own and decided to research tefl programs available online for much needed guidance. I am so glad I chose Tefl Pros because I have gained the guidance and knowledge I was hoping for, and equally as important, the confidence to be the best teacher I can be. For me in particular the observat...

I was working a 9-5 corporate job and just not feeling totally fulfilled in my life. I was making great money, had all the nice things I wanted, but felt like there was so much more out there for me. I internally knew that I needed to take a risk and decided to quit my job, give away all my furniture, sell my car, buy a backpack and start travelling. I went to New Zealand on a working holiday visa and had very little money when I got there. I joined the WWOOF (willing workers on organic farms) community and things took off from there. I was able to travel all over the country trying new things and meeting the most amazing people. Those memories will stay with me forever!

I spent part of my childhood abroad thanks to my parents' jobs. I always knew that one day I would want to live outside the US again and make my own way as an adult. As a child, I lived in Europe and Central America, so as an adult I wanted to live in Asia and/or Africa. I wanted to go abroad on my own to experience new cultures, push myself beyond my comfort zone, as well as see and experience countries and continents I hadn't before. In all honesty, I think answering what "inspired" me to move abroad is difficult because I never saw my life as not being lived outside of my native country.
