TEFL Training College

I want to say a big thank you to everyone from the TEFL Training College team. I had lots of questions to start with concerning doing an online TEFL course instead of a face-to-face one, but Dr Thomas was so patient and helpful by answering my endless questions before I signed up. After that, I had a great tutor who guided me and supported me throughout my studies. I managed to dedicate a couple of hours per day during the week to study and as much as I could during the weekend, to finish my modules as soon as I could. I was so proud of myself when I finally completed my course and received my certificate. I couldn’t have done it without all the support I received and now I can look forward to a prosperous career as an English teacher.

My husband is in the military and as an army wife, I am used to being relocated very often from one county to another. As it can be difficult to find and hold jobs, under those circumstances, I decided to pursue a career where I could take my job wherever I go. That’s how becoming an online TEFL teacher has allowed me to work from home and not to worry when I next need to move to another city. I enrolled for a Certificate course - 150 hours - at the TEFL Training College and never looked back! I totally enjoyed the course as I could go through the modules at my own pace and had the support of a tutor for the entire time. I learned so much more than I imagined and found the way they taught us very interesting and useful, especially the extra videos and articles. I am now very confident to start my online career and look forward to a bright and fun future teaching people from all over the over from the comfort of my own home.

Having dedicated quite a few years to working in a bank I was ready for a change but not just a change of jobs, as I also wanted a change of lifestyle and climate. As I always had gone to Thailand for holidays I chose to move there permanently as soon as I could secure a position. I had researched online TEFL courses and found great reviews from the ones provided by the TEFL Training College. I took a leap of faith and started a Certificate course. I was very impressed with how thorough the course was and I really enjoyed learning how to become an English teacher. I had the full support of my wonderful tutor, who was very patient with me and helped me throughout my studies. I graduated feeling very proud of myself and applied for a position in Chiang Mai. I am now living such a different life compared to 6 months ago that I wonder what took me so long. I teach many kids and they are an endless source of joy and laughter during the day. I enjoy my new pace of life, the culture and nature around me and already had the opportunity to visit Burma, which isn’t too far. So, for anyone out there who is need of a change of pace and lifestyle, the first step is to enrol in one of the TEFL Training College courses, just like me, and you will soon be living the life you deserve and always wanted!
