TEFL Heaven

In university, one of the subjects I majored in was international relations, so it has always been my dream to travel around and work abroad. I love meeting people from different cultures and exploring new cities, so being able to travel and get paid to do so is incredible.

I thought about applying to go abroad for about three years, and for about three months I had my application completed, I just didn't send it off. I began to realise there was nothing keeping me in Scotland, especially not the cold weather. I had looked at many pictures of Thailand and it looked so beautiful; I was inspired by the beaches to get up and go. I wanted to do it for myself.

I'd always wanted to teach English abroad for the opportunity to travel. There was little luck with the lottery, so teaching and earning money was a great fit for me. As I was just graduating, the timing was perfect. I was new to working abroad, so I desired an international program to walk me through the steps starting out. It can be intimidating getting a job, visa, and making the move all on your own, especially when it's a country you've never been to before.
