The Center for Multidisciplinary Training and Advising, or CECAM, is a nonprofit foundation promoting human rights by initiating social and ecological projects in underprivileged communities in Cochabamba, Bolivia. The center uses educational programs, training, and workshops to identify issues affecting a community, and then develop innovative solutions.
CECAM focuses on the development of ecological projects which benefit the well-being of the lowest socioeconomic groups in Bolivia, the provision of training workshops which encourage sustainable and equitable development, and the encouragement of the use of renewable energy through easy-to-use technologies.
Interns can participate in various projects, including Ecological Technologies, Environmental Education, and Women's Leadership.
