Summerbridge Hong Kong

Summerbridge Hong Kong, a beacon of educational empowerment, was established in 1992 as a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering tuition-free quality English education to underprivileged students. Distinguished as the sole program outside the United States, it embraces 35 secondary students and engages 15 student teachers in its transformative summer initiatives. The triumvirate of programs—Summer Program, Sponsor Field Trips, and Summerbridge After School (SAS) Program—orchestrates a harmonious symphony of learning. The Summer Program orchestrates a five-week English immersion experience for students, fostering an intimate class setting of 8-10 students, ensuring personalized attention and active participation. Sponsor Field Trips amplify the impact by organizing excursions, enabling students to interface with sponsors and professionals, and cultivating communication skills in a vibrant setting. The SAS Program serves as an ongoing connection, offering English immersion workshops and activities, fortifying communication and leadership skills, and solidifying Summerbridge as a transformative force in the educational landscape of Hong Kong.
