Smt. Kamala Saklecha Gyan Mandir is a coeducational school in Mandsaur district, India established in an effort to provide quality education to children in Bhanpura and surrounding villages. Our school started in 1992 with pre-primary classes and 81 students in the three rooms of a village inn. We moved to our own building and campus in 1997, after buying land and constructing school buildings outside Bhanpura.
We expose and encourage students toward classical performing arts, which is a culture and heritage in India that many commercial-minded schools in the country have ignored or forgotten. We stand apart from other schools, in the sense that we aim to offer less fortunate children easy access to quality education. While we do not have modern facilities, we provide basic education in the best quality possible - something that kids from small villages need most. We also have a hostel, with dormitories and study rooms, for students whose parents want them to stay on campus.
