Rozan is a nonprofit NGO based in Islamabad and officially registered in 1998. The organization was granted special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council in 2006. We focus on issues related to the reproductive and psychological health of adolescents; violence against children and women; gender; and psychological and emotional health. We aim to work with people from all backgrounds, particularly vulnerable groups, and to strive for a violence-free society.
Our team comprises supporters, volunteers, social workers, and psychologists. We use a holistic approach, with interventions based from a prevention and protection perspective. Our current programs are Aangan (for children and youth), Zeest (for women), Rabta (for police training), and Humqadam (for men). These are supported by two units, the Rozan Helpline and Munsalik, which is a media and advocacy agency.
