I was inspired by a desire to contribute meaningfully while learning about sustainable design. Volunteering abroad offered the chance to develop my skills and immerse myself in a rich culture, all while working on eco-friendly projects that benefit local communities.

I was inspired to go abroad by the idea of experiencing something completely different from my everyday routine. The thought of waking up just steps away from the ocean, learning a new skill like surfing, and meeting people from all over the world was incredibly exciting. I wanted to challenge myself physically and mentally, and this experience seemed like the perfect way to do that.

I initially wanted to get involved after finishing my studies, using my free time to support communities and animals. After participating in three different missions, I knew I wanted my future career to have real meaning. Freepackers/RealStep was the perfect fit, so I applied—and they gave me the opportunity to continue my commitment, this time from within the team.
