Program Summary

The Master of Laws is one of 22 LLM programs of study at Queen Mary University of London. The program is designed to give students maximum flexibility in their choice of modules and dissertation topic. The program allows students to follow a variety of interests or to select a range of modules designed with a specific career or personal aspiration in mind. Students can choose any combination taught-modules of 135 credits in total and their dissertation (45 credits) may be in any field of law. Students may choose from the full range of available LLM modules that are taught within the School of Law.

When students apply for the Master of Laws program, their final degree certificate will show Master of Laws. If they want their degree to show expertise in a specific area of law, then they should apply for one of the university's specialized LLM programs.
