Projects Overland is a volunteer, non-governmental organization started by native residents in Arusha, Tanzania to support grassroots projects in their community. Operated under the Anglican Church of Tanzania, we work with communities in Moshi, Arusha, Zanzibar, and Lushoto. Together with volunteers from across the globe, we run programs aimed at the improvement of quality of life. We collaborate closely with ministries within the Tanzanian government, particularly in the areas of Education and Health, to make sure we provide effective and appropriate support to projects. We also partner with other NGOs to truly fulfill community needs, especially within these areas: medicine, child care (orphanage), education, and development. Our rewarding volunteer experiences come with a range of leisure activities, from city tours to wildlife safaris, ensuring complete cultural immersion while in Tanzania.
