As a Projects Abroad intern, you will have the chance to gain field experience in physical therapy in a hospital in Ghana. You will be shadowing physical therapists and learn how care is offered in these facilities. Qualifications and experience and on how much you involve yourself when working will affect how much hands-on work you can do.

When you first arrive at the hospital where you are working you will discuss your work schedule with the Projects Abroad co-coordinator and a member of the hospital staff who will be your placement supervisor.
