You will get involved with varied activities, from observing local doctors in a health clinic to educating families in rural communities. You will attend medical workshops to learn about current medical issues in the country, such as tropical diseases and HIV/AIDS. One of the project’s goals is to teach you the importance of good health. Throughout your stay in Nanyuki, you will assist with examinations in healthcare centers and lead interactive health-related activities for children.

This program isn’t all about working because you will also get to enjoy on the weekend. Together with other young volunteers, you will experience the breathtaking scenery and wildlife of a forest or conservation area.
