Program Includes:

This is an all exclusive tour! Once your teen lands, we take care of your teen.
The only thing you provide is spending money for souvenirs or extra's.
You are responsible for the roundtrip airfare from your state to Hawai'i.

Project Hawai'i, Inc. has strict guidelines and requirements to assure the success of the program for all teens attending. This is a volunteer service learning program and we strive to provide the best overall experience. Here are the primary qualifications:

1. Teen Enrollment Application Process requires the following for acceptance:
a). Full application provided by us
b). Two recommendation letters (as specified in the application process)
c). An essay about themselves and why they choose to spend their summer participating in a service-learning program.
d). A GPA 3.2 or higher (for international students we require the two highest marks)
e). Medical release from your pediatrician, as well as a physical form (typically your school physical to participate in sports is used to meet this criteria.
f). We do accept teens with food allergies, or other menu change needs, as well as other medical needs. For this we require extra information before arrival. Some extreme diets might require an addition fee as much as $150. per week. Detail will be provided before enrollment.

2. Who can participate in this program:
a). Teens between the ages of 14-19
b). Enrolled in High School or class of 2016 (teens who have not attended college or university may also apply)
c). Teens must enjoy working with young children. Our camp buddies are between the ages of 3-7.
d). Teens are also required to have worked with small children, either their younger siblings, or through babysitting positions, or other experiences that provided one on one or group setting interaction with young children.
