You will work at a tropical Wildlife Rescue Centre, which serves as a home to more than 400 rescued animals including bears, monkeys and elephants. You will work six days per week, from 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., carrying out diverse tasks each day. Typical responsibilities generally include: - Feeding the animals - Providing water - Creating enrichments - Assisting in cleaning enclosures - Maintaining work on the center grounds, enclosures and fences The center operates as a sanctuary for abused, neglected or injured animals, allowing you to become exposed to various wildlife species. These include 5 different species of macaque, 2 species of gibbon, civets, around 25 bears (sun bears and Asiatic black bear...
Program Highlights
Help care for around 300 rescued animals from abuse and neglect.
Live on-site at the wildlife center, which is based on temple grounds.
Become involved with elephant care as well while volunteering in the Wildlife Rescue project.
Contribute directly to the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in Thailand.
Work alongside some of Thailand’s incredible wildlife, letting you gain the satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of rescued animals.
