people and places supports a range of health initiatives based in and around Siem Reap, and volunteers will be placed on a project according to their particular skills and experience. Opportunities include working in community centers in rural villages where subsistence farmers and fishermen live in communities lacking piped water, sewage systems, and basic healthcare services we would otherwise take for granted. Another placement involves working with the lake doctors who send floating clinics to remote villages in and around Tonle Sap Lake.
