Peduli Anak Foundation is a non-profit organisation, fighting for the rights of underprivileged children by providing education, accommodation and medical- and legal aid. Over the past five years, we have developed and implemented various programs in Indonesia. With the help of the NCDO the Netherlands (National Commission for international co-operation and Sustainable Development), the Turing Foundation (co-founded by the TomTom Company), the Van der Poel Charity Fund (Executive Vice President of Royal Philips Electronics and Chairman of ASML) and many other enterprises and organisations, we constructed a large development centre for street children on a 1,5 hectare site situated on the island of Lombok. It consists of three shelters, a primary school, a vocational school and a medical centre. Here, 80 children are accommodated, educated and provided with medical- and legal aid by our team of 40 dedicated (local) employees. Besides the children in our development centre, hundreds of other children outside the centre receive daily support from us through a joint-program with The Indonesia's Ministry of Social Affairs.
