Osa Conservation, a non-profit organization, is devoted in protecting the natural diversity of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. The organization aims to conserve and preserve the terrestrial and marine biodiversity by creating projects protecting the ecosystem, enhancing scientific understanding, providing education and training, and providing sustainable economic opportunities.
The organization believes that understanding the ecological, social, and economic relationship will lead to better understanding of environment conservation. We recognize that in order for conservation efforts to succeed, it must be coupled with science, community engagement, and strong systems of support upon which to collaboratively build a more sustainable future. This is why our work is founded in science and also supported by strategic partnerships and a phenomenal team spread through multiple stations in the Osa, both of which share a strong commitment to improving lives through protecting nature.
