Program Overview

The climate in Indonesia is almost entirely tropical; however, most households suffer a shortage in energy supply. With your contribution to our volunteering and internship project, we can install solar panels. We aim to introduce this alternative energy source to households, helping lessen their electricity bills.

This opportunity offers you understanding of renewable energy, particularly solar energy. The work experience makes you able to install solar panels and the systems. If you have no background of solar panel, we have a trainer who provides training before the work.

Stay in a village your team will install solar panels. Throughout this period, help the locals and contribute to the reduction of global warming. Plus, have the opportunity to visit Makassar, a coastal area where you can explore the islands. On weekends and holidays, visit interesting destinations such as Toraja, Bantimurung, Malino, or Tanjung Bira. At the end of every one-month stay, you may have one week of free time to visit places like Bali, Bunaken, and Borobudur.
