The National University of Singapore (NUS) is a global university considered one of the best in Asia and across the world. We ranked first in the 2016 QS University Rankings in Asia and the 12th in the 2015/2016 QS World University Rankings. Established in 1905, we started as a small medical college with only 23 students. Currently, we are the country’s flagship university with three campuses - the main campus in Kent Ridge and two other in Outram and Bukit Timah - and almost 40,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
NUS offers a distinctive experience through our range of academic programs, experiential learning, and entrepreneurship education. We provide training and research centered on optimizing each student’s potential and preparedness for the future, especially once they are out in the professional field. We have 13 undergraduate schools with 70 bachelor’s degrees and 4 graduate schools with over 140 master’s and doctoral degrees as well as graduate diplomas. We also have double majors and degrees as well as joint degrees. Our educational opportunities span from learning from highly experienced professors to interning with an industry leader overseas.
