Nanyuki Furaha Foundation is an organization that works for rehabilitation, education, and provision of basic needs to street children, orphans, needy children, and rescued children to become self-reliant and independent, as well as contribute positively in future, to society. The Institution usually hosts 40 children of between the age of two and 17. Currently, it hosts 40 residents. In addition, the institution also supports 14 other children at their homes after their exile from the institution. With help from volunteers, we make a bigger impact on positive change. Volunteers get to change children’s lives, contribute and share existing skills, develop new listening and communication skills they can use in all aspects of their life, meet new people from all kinds of backgrounds and cultures, improve their CV, give something back to the community, and on top of this, they help support the growth and sustainability of our institution.
