Middlebury School in Cameroon: Yaoundé

At the School in Cameroon, students sign and honor the Language Pledge, promising to speak only French during their time abroad. Those already at an advanced level of French come away from the program with superior language skills and the fact that they have gained an authentic study abroad experience. Yaoundé is an ideal place for immersion into Francophone-African life. Based at the Université Catholique d'Afrique Centrale, students in the Middlebury program in Cameroon take courses in several disciplines in the humanities and social sciences.
