This trip offered a lot of hands on experience which was great. The mainland portion had great accommodations and wonderful local vet staff who really facilitated our learning. The snorkel portion was very interactive as well.

This past summer I went on the Loop Abroad trip to Belize. The first week we studied marine ecology and the second week was large animal veterinary medicine. I learned a lot during both weeks and really enjoyed how hands-on the large animal week was. I really enjoyed learning about the culture and experiencing a new country with great people!

My trip was 2 weeks long and I got more out of then I have in a year of school. Everything was mostly hands on and they let us be part of all the action. This was a great opportunity to learn about Belize agriculture and their large animal medicine vs. the US. COVID ddi not stop us from getting our moneys worth or experience. Loop did an amazing job in making sure our safety and health were top priority. 10/10 recommend everyone to go on this trip or study abroad and learn all about the different cultures and get that first hand experience!
