The camps take place during the German school holidays, mainly in summer. There are 5-6 days long Overnight and Day Camps. Overnight Camps are usually combined with specials such as climbing, canoeing or waterskiing etc. While most LEOlingo camps revolve around learning the English language, there are also camps focused on teaching children French or Spanish.

Experience that shaped my early 20s
January 13, 2025by: Agate Freiberga - LatviaProgram: Be a Language Camp Counselor in Northern GermanyHaving worked for Leolingo for 5 years, I can confidently say that it changed my life. I have gained friends from around the world, challenged myself and made some great memories. It helped me get acquainted with Germany, and now I even live here permanently. I must also say that Sabine is the most considerate, organized and welcoming boss I could imagine, she took a chance on me 6 years ago and this opportunity broadened my horizon immensely, so for that I'm very grateful! I can definitely recommend coming to Leolingo, it will enrich your life in ways you may not expect.
Great opportunity for a fun summer job!
October 09, 2023by: Stu D. - United StatesProgram: Be a Language Camp Counselor in Northern GermanyI have done LEOlingo for 3 summers and it's been incredible every single time. The camp is very well organized and the person running the camp will give you everything you need in order to have a fun (and successful) summer. The activities are also great and the co-workers I met are what kept bringing me back every year! Additionally, the camp also provides vegetarian and vegan meals, which was a plus for :)
Great Job Experience

You get to know your coworkers well who, in my experience, have been really nice and interesting people from all over the world and the person who runs the program is very caring and makes sure that all your needs are met. Overall it was an amazing summer!

What inspired you to travel abroad?
As a language and sports teacher, I liked the idea of learning languages through games and activities. I always loved to travel and communicate with people from all over the world. That is the idea of LEOlingo, to learn a language from native speakers in an active environment.
