The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Cape Town (UCT) is a large and diverse academic unit focused on exploring various dimensions of the human condition.Students are trained to develop key skills such as imagination, insight, and analytical abilities, preparing them for careers in various sectors including public, private, media, NGOs, and academia. Semester study abroad students can choose from a wide range of courses offered by five faculties. Select up to four semester courses at undergraduate (Bachelors) level or two to three semester courses at postgraduate (Masters) level for a full semester’ credit load.
