ISA (International Studies Abroad) Participant Reviews
My lovely Belgium
Submitted by Matt - Carthage College | January 30, 2018
So quaint yet not quaint at all. I fell in love with this city and everyone in it. ISA helped me every step of the way. My program advisor became one of my best friends and my host moms were caring, loving, and a joy to be around. Wouldn't change a thing.
Study abroad 2015
Submitted by Nicole Springer - Iowa State University | January 16, 2018
My abroad experience was incredible I had an unforgettable experience. At first, I was really hesitant to join in different activities and talk to strangers. But the staff member working for ISA really helped me come out of my shell and join in. Once I started to become more a part of my group I was able to try things I never would've had before. After my study abroad experience I feel that I am so much more open to trying new things as well as being involved in my community.

I studied abroad with international studies abroad twice . Once for study abroad and again for an internship , both were in China . I cannot say enough about my experiences. I improved my Chinese language skills immensely while also being immersed in the Chinese culture. Along the way I made life long friends I would recommend ISA to anyone interested in studying abroad they were so helpful every step of the way.

Studying abroad with ISA in London
Submitted by Elena Conklin - - | January 09, 2018
My experience with ISA was a memorable one, to say the least. The program itself was very trustworthy and reliable. The excursions that were included in the entire program were also extremely fun and exciting. I would not have picked a better program to go to London with. The Kingston University ISA program staff were also extremely helpful and kind to me while I was there for the semester of Fall, 2015. I enjoyed every last minute of my time in Kingston Upon Thames, London, England and I cannot express in words how much I miss it and long to go back as soon as I can. When I arrived back home to the states after a semester abroad, I decided to apply to become a Global Ambassador for ISA at my home university. From the semester I arrived home until I graduated this past December 2017, I worked as a GA on campus and helped younger students with their goals to study abroad, especially ones who were interested in the ISA programs. Without a doubt, studying in London with ISA was one of the best decisions I've made in my life, hands down, and I would not have had it any other way.

I loved my time abroad in Spain. I met so many wonderful people and I got to study in a beautiful Andalusian city. The excursions to different cities as well as the activities in Seville that the program provided really helped give students authentic cultural experiences. I cannot wait to go back and visit!

Stirling Experience and Mike
Submitted by Jamie Dale - University of Houston | September 18, 2017
Being in Scotland and learning about its rich history was an experienced to be unmatched, especially with our Resident Director, Mike Kurtyka. He went above and beyond to ensure every single student in his care could make the most of their experience and knew an incredible amount of each place we visited.
A Stirling Scottish program
Submitted by Caroline - Georgia College & State University | August 16, 2017
Stirling is an excellent program for anyone seeking to experience non-tourist Scotland. Its central location permits you to travel often, and it's not as touristy or busy as Edinburgh or Glasgow. The academics are mild but interesting and the campus is quite nice. There is easy access to the Ochil Hills and Hermitage Woods for hiking or jogging during the day, and the town is only a short bus ride away. I'd definitely recommend going.
An American immersed in Scottish culture

Stirling, Scotland proved to be a perfect central location for travel and culture as an American student and intern. During my time here I was able to adjust to the community easily and adventure outside the university and Stirling in my free time. Overall the size, friendly people and location of Stirling made for an amazing abroad experience!

Had an amazing time during my study abroad, had no issues or concerns that couldn't be fixed by ISA. Mike was great as well and gave great tips on what there was to do around Scotland. He had a lot of knowledge on the country and it was nice learning from him things that we didn't learn from the locals or during our classes.

Studying abroad is amazing and so is Glasgow. Its completely a hidden treasure and ISA does a good job of making you feel like you have support. If nothing else, you get to see Edinburgh, Stirling and the Highlands. If you get the chance to explore Europe, do it! Its worth it!
I had an impeccable time here.
