My opinion of Guadalajara is: where do I start? Safe, super people, gorgeous architecture, great weather, not polluted, etc. The deciding factors in choosing ITTO were location + affordable. The course trained me to be an effective EFL teacher. The course was described as intensive with lots of opportunities to practice with real EFL students. I learned new teaching strategies and skills. I am better prepared to teach in front of new students. The observations of other classes were very helpful. My teaching was evaluated fairly, and I got good feedback. Trainers wanted us to succeed and provided a safe and engaging classroom environment. My opinion of Guadalajara is that it is the best city I have been to.

Covered everything I expected and more. I wasn’t expecting it to be so intense, but I’m glad it was. 10 practices gave me plenty of experience in an unfamiliar environment. The practical training met my expectations. It was really useful and gave me a lot of feedback that was constructive. Trainers were amazing, personable, and unbelievably knowledgeable. My opinion of Guadalajara is that it’s an amazing city, very clean, and lots to do. My message as someone who has taken the course is that if you have any doubts or worries, these will disappear quickly, and you will not regret this.

The course met my expectations. Intensive should be in all caps. I found the segment on how to teach online enjoyable and useful. It opened my horizon to attempt online. The practical training surpassed my expectations. My opinion of Guadalajara is that it’s scenic, calming, open.

I would say the course exceeded my expectations. The knowledge was very dense, but with the help of our teachers it was digestible. Teachers have excellent time management and are very knowledgeable. Observations were insightful. I did appreciate observations before teaching because I was able to essentially “copy/paste” the instructors. Mr. Ruiz is truly a stand out teacher. Not only in our class, but in his IMAC class. Ms. Iñiguez is loving, caring, and so resourceful. She always answers messages and truly wants you to succeed. My opinion of Guadalajara is that it’s beautiful! vibrant! welcoming! My message as someone who has taken the course is stay organized, stay focused, stay motivated. Remember to eat, sleep and enjoy yourself whenever possible. Be proactive.

It is a very complete course with a lot of useful resources for the future. The material is very good organized and has a lot of examples. It was really good for me to have a grammar review because even if I use English to communicate I studied grammar a long time ago. Miss Magdaleno and Miss Iñiguez are so professional and warm teachers, was a pleasure to work with them. My opinion of Guadalajara is that it is a beautiful city with a lot of history, is not a small town but it is not big enough to be chaotic. Don’t let this opportunity go, if it is what you want, you will enjoy the process even if it is challenging.

The trainer met my expectations in punctuality, communication skills, accessibility, and professionalism. Very cool people, they made it fun to be in class. The backup services and administration were excellent. Regarding the guaranteed paid employment placement, I already received a job offer, so I'd say 10/10 in my experience. I really enjoy the city; the side walk tiles are really cool. My message as someone who has taken the course is that it’s exhausting but worth it.

It actually exceeded my expectations. I feel more prepared to teach than I expected I would. I was very nervous, especially regarding the classroom presentation and lesson planning. I got plenty of practice in both. The practical training met my expectations. Very good – lots of practice and good feedback. Great teaching staff! Wide variety of teachers, but following a tight curriculum. Regarding guaranteed paid employment placement, worked great for me. Hired before I finished. My message as someone who has taken the course is that if you thought about a TEFL certification, ITTO is a great option.

Teachers and lecturers were very professional, engaging, and informative. Good resources provided. The information on the website is accurate in the course content. My confidence has improved immensely due to actively teaching students. All relevant material, including additional handouts from teachers. All trainers were very professional! I completed the 4-week program in Guadalajara with ITTO in January. Soon after this, I was placed at a school in the same city. I have been teaching high school students for just over a month now and it is very challenging to say the least. My time with ITTO was one of the best experience I have had in a classroom setting, although it was highly intensive! The ten hours of teaching practice was very helpful in gaining experience in the classroom as a teacher and I would recommend this course to those that are serious about becoming a teacher.

The trainer was a great teacher. He taught us so much and had so many stories and useful tips. I found it very helpful, I already have two job offers in locations that I’d like. I used the free accommodation placement and stayed with an amazing family! I learned a ton during this course. It was extremely intense, but I have grown so much as a teacher.

The trainer is an excellent teacher who is easy to relate, to approach and accessible. It is an excellent course and you will learn a lot. It prepares you to teach but you must be prepared to work hard. I won’t have the opportunity to use the Job placement service right away but I’m so glad I can use it in a year or two.
