Guatemala is one of the poorest countries in the Americas. This comes with bad access to health care and poor conditions for patients. Join our medical volunteer program in Guatemala and help communities stay healthy by joining a network of clinics working non-stop to treat various conditions. In the medical volunteer program in Guatemala, you will be assigned to a rural medical clinic where you will be assisting the medical staff. Since this is a healthcare program, you will be assisting in a wider range of tasks from medical material prepping, health workshops, nutritional workshops, supply logistics in medical campaigns and some administrative work.
