Impact Amplifier was founded in 2011, based on the belief that to address Africa's socioeconomic and environmental challenges both innovative entrepreneurs and business models must emerge. We believe that private sector will spearhead efforts to find solutions to what have been historically intractable issues throughout the Continent. Impact Amplifier supports this vision by providing investment readiness and advisory services to boost the growth of social entrepreneurs; assisting impact investors to source and secure compelling opportunities; and delivering supplier development and sustainability advisory services to private and public institutions transitioning toward a more ethical approach to business.
We have contributed to projects as far reaching as entrepreneur ecosystem analysis in Madagascar to setting up small farmer supply chains and impact assessments in Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Malawi, to directing group social enterprise accelerators and one-on-one entrepreneur support toward investment readiness with more than 40 businesses. Between the three partners we have more than 30 years experience in Impact Amplifier’s core business.
We have recently decided to expand our work to include an exclusive opportunity for University students and recent graduates to learn from industry experts in the social enterprise and impact investment fields while also working directly with Impact Amplifier’s clients to support their visions of social justice and environmental conservation.
