GoPro Utila is a PADI center that specializes in technical dive and professional scuba training. Based in Honduras and established in 2001, we are recognized for our outstanding training and service as well as world-class instructors. In fact, we have received the PADI Americas and Sports Divers Instructor Development award for best PADI IDC center. We are a full-service facility, and not some unit in a resort or other establishments. Our dive center is fully equipped with classrooms, a training pool, tanks, boats, diving gear, and a dock – all within a convenient location.
Our staff at GoPro Utila is made up of experienced divers with background in technical and recreational diving, including re-breathers. They actively teach and dive as well as discover various diving spots and environments. Two of our instructors are Central America’s sole Platinum Course Directors, receiving this status for 12 consecutive years. This is a recognition no other dive facility or course director in Central or Latin America can match. GoPro Utila and our range of offerings, from scuba diving internships to dive trips, are dedicated to environment conservation. This is evident through our 100 percent partnership, which includes financial support, with Project Aware. This provides our divers a special Aware certification.
