My time in Palestine was unforgettable
January 01, 2025by: Freya Radcliffe - United KingdomProgram: Volunteer or Intern with Children in Palestine (1-12 Weeks)My time in Palestine was unforgettable. The staff at Go Palestine are warm and supportive, making every step comfortable. Teaching English to kids aged 10–14 was an amazing experience, and my Arabic lessons with my wonderful instructor, Mohammad, were incredibly engaging. I highly recommend visiting Palestine and the people are hospitable, and the experience is truly rewarding. I can’t wait to return!
My Experience in Palestine
December 30, 2024by: Camila Torres - ArgentinaProgram: Volunteer or Intern with Children in Palestine (1-12 Weeks)Teaching English in Palestine was a great experience. My students’ strength and excitement inspired me, and visiting places like Hebron showed me the mix of rich history and daily struggles under occupation. The kindness and strength of the Palestinian people touched my heart, but seeing checkpoints and limited freedoms was hard to see. I am happy that I decided to come to Palestine and I will come again.
Fulfilling experience
December 30, 2024by: Charlotte Harris - United KingdomProgram: Volunteer or Intern with Children in Palestine (1-12 Weeks)I was fortunate to take part in the volunteer program with refugees for two weeks. The opportunity to immerse myself in Palestinian culture and explore the country was an invaluable addition to the experience. Teaching English to Palestinian kids was a truly fulfilling part of the program. The team at Go Palestine is outstanding, they are always ready to assist and ensure that your time there is both enjoyable and unforgettable. Each Monday, I visited refugee camps in Hebron and Bethlehem, which was an eye opening experience. During my two weeks, I also had the privilege of teaching conversational English to students aged 12 to 17. We shared many fun and memorable moments throughout our lessons.
