Forum-Nexus Study Abroad

All three of my older brothers participated in study abroad, and from their experiences and adventures, I discovered my inspiration to have similar adventures. One of my brothers went back to the country where he studied abroad and continued his postgraduate education at a local college. He now lives and works there because he took a chance on studying abroad and found his future.

I was inspired by a deep curiosity to experience the world beyond textbooks and classrooms. I’ve always believed that education doesn’t end within four walls—it lives in the streets, in conversations, in history, and in the cultures we immerse ourselves in. I wanted to challenge myself by stepping into unfamiliar environments, discovering new perspectives, and building a sense of global belonging. What inspired me most was the desire to connect with people, hear their stories, and allow those encounters to shape who I am becoming.

I was inspired to go abroad by my mom. She studied abroad in college and always spoke highly of it. I knew I wanted to do something similar, and a friend showed me Forum-Nexus and I was so excited!
