English Language Centre-Lethbridge College has been offering English as a Second Language (ESL) training since 1970. Students 18 and older can study ESL for full or partial semesters. Classes are small (averaging 17 students) and the center provides a family environment to students from all over the globe. Our award-winning and accredited center is often the first stop for many of our international students who may need to upgrade their English in order to ensure their success in one of our more than 50 certificate and/or diploma career-training programs. All of your ESL instructors are highly qualified and experienced; they also provide personalized language training. As we are a designated learning institute, conditional offers of acceptance (ESL and post-secondary program) are available for those students who meet all other academic requirements aside from English, and are interested in applying to a post-secondary program.
