Founded in 1858, Saint Denis is a private Catholic institution under contract with the French State. Our school, which is located in the Loire Valley, has a preschool and primary school (Saint Martin) and a middle and high school (Saint Denis). We welcome more than 800 students, including over 400 boarding students. Our student population comprises of a broad mix of various cultures and nationalities, since we recruit young people actively from across the world.
We provide French Baccalaureate academic programs in the STMG, ES, S, and L streams. These are supplemented with Geography and History classes taught by native English teachers. Our International Section offers students regular French classes and English courses, such as English Literature - which they take according to AS and IGCSE Level, following the Cambridge International Programme. Students in 10th grade and year 11 take Religion and Economics classes in English as well.
