Program Summary
Participate in an internship in Buenos Aires and gain an understanding of human rights in Argentina! Interns will live in one of South Americas most cosmopolitan and dynamic cities while obtaining direct experience in their chosen field.
Through partnerships with nonprofit organizations focusing on citizen engagement, democracy-building, and international human rights, ELI offers participants the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge. Organizations work with other NGOs as well as national and international organizations and institutions. Interns will participate in projects such as communication, event planning, and other campaigns, and will be placed based on the desires of the organization and their own skills.

Program Highlights
1. This is a highly customizable program that allows students or young professionals from almost any industry to enhance their business skills and their international network. Internships are created on an individual basis in order to cater to the needs or each applicant.
2. Interns have the opportunity address local issues while being able to test their career interests and gain experience.
3. While interns will have to know an intermediate level of Spanish, there are Spanish lessons available for an additional fee.
4. Buenos Aires is often called the Paris of South America because of the European style architecture, cultural venues, and fine restaurants.
5. On time off, interns will be able to visit cultural and historical sites such as dance venues that welcome novice tango dancers, the Evita Museum, or Tierra Santa, the world's first religious theme park.
